Bethel Heights 1999 Wädenswil Block Reserve Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

Classy and tight, with a tart cherry, herb and tomato profile and racy acidity that is very '99. Light and smooth, with an even chalk-dust feel, it stays lean and clean through the long, sour cherry finish. This will even out a bit with time in the bottle, but not flesh out much. It will always be angular in manner, with great appeal to those who enjoy high-strung Pinot.
