Biondi 2017 San Nicolò (Etna)

Vinous aromas of just pressed grapes mingle with scents of woodland berries, scorched earth, fragrant blue flowers and Mediterranean brush. Savory and elegant, the focused palate features juicy red cherry, spiced pomegranate, licorice and a salty saline note. Lithe, fine-grained tannins keep it balanced and finessed. Drink 2022–2027.
