Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier 2015 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Kabinett Riesling (Mosel)

While initially quite closed and earthy, an enthusiastic swirl of air will coax delicate peach and blossom notes from this seemingly shy wine. The palate turns quite feisty, bolstered by ripe peach and tangerine flavors as well as an electric shock of acidity. Revitalizing and honeyed, it's lovely already, but has potential to keep developing ‘til at least 2025. Anna Lee C. Iijima
