Bishop's Peak 2003 Syrah (Edna Valley)

This second label from Talley is proving to be a good source of less expensive wines from the region. This Syrah is dry and fruity, with firm acids and weighty, but finely grained, tannins. It's a little light on the finish, but pleasant.
