Bishop's Peak 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles)

This bottling is bolstered by 11% Petit Verdot, 8% Merlot, 3% Malbec and 1% Cabernet Franc. It shows intriguing sandalwood, cedar and macerated blackberry aromas on the nose. There's a touch of beef jerky and plenty of elderberry fruit to the sip as well as a cedary spice. Matt Kettmann
