This is lovely and light style of Pinot, especially for a reserve bottling. Aromas of wild strawberry and cranberry mesh with tart cherry, crushed sagebrush and dewy thyme on a zesty nose. Underripe cherries also show on the palate, with anise, marjoram and a powerful incense spice. It's both refreshing and intellectually stimulating.
