Though only making wine since 2007, the Blair family estate goes back nearly a century. This wine shows aromas of grilled lemon peels and squeezed pears, and then delivers an interesting flavor profile that's more rich than lean. Flavors of citrus-topped brioche, yellow apples, yeast and a touch of smoke are presented atop a waxy mouthfeel. Matt Kettmann
