Blakeslee 2009 Estate Chardonnay (Yamhill-Carlton)

This clean and leesy Chardonnay was fermented half in stainless, half in neutral oak. Its flavors are apple, melon and celery, with a lightly beery, textural mouthfeel that refreshes and lingers. Just a hint of toast comes up on the finish. Paul Gregutt
