Blasón de San Juan 2000 Roble (Ribera del Duero)

Shows hickory-style wood aromas along with jerky, briar patch and cherry. Fairly fresh and forward, with a tangy palate dealing standard berry-cherry fare. Tight on the finish, with chocolate, pepper and coffee notes. A cut above the mass-market products; quite acceptable for the price Michael Schachner
