This wine purports to cause whiplash, supposedly because it's so good, hence the “HeadSnapper” name. And while that's not likely to take place, its blackberry, toast and brambly undercurrent give it character, while the finish is cushioned and long, albeit a touch oaky. Healthy and very much worth a look, even if it won't cause your head to snap. Michael Schachner
