This pricey, mature wine is richly colored, and features an expected blast of toasted oak on the nose as well as some lemon and scrambled eggs. The oak element is heavy, but interesting. It definitely drives the wine and provides plenty of spicy nuances. If it's missing anything, it's defined, clean fruit and brighter acidity. Drink immediately.
