Edgar Torres takes a stab at Priorat with this blend of 60% Carignan, 15% Garnacha, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah from the new Paper Street Vineyard, and succeeds with a deeply concentrated mix of strawberry, black cherry and purple flowers on the nose. The palate is pure purple, with lilac, wisteria and boysenberry flavors, framed by chalky tannins. Drink 2020–2031.
