There's a dense core of black currant and smoked meat on the nose of this blend of 50% Kimsey and 50% Zotovich vineyards. Firm tannins frame the sip, where strong hickory and oak smoke elements waft through flavors of roasted boysenberry and black plum, with pinches of nutmeg and star anise. Matt Kettmann
