85pointsBodega Don Bosco 2006 Malbec (Maipú)

Aromas of cherry cough drop make the bouquet slightly medicinal, but beyond that it's solid and familiar. Moderate richness on the palate accompanies flavors of butter, strawberry and raspberry. Heat, wood resin and a touch of pickle work the finish. Good wine but it doesn't exactly go the extra mile. Michael Schachner
