The dark hue and thick, sweet aromas announce that, just like the label says, this wine was oaked. What emerges from the glass is a cloying honey and orange-laden confection. It's pretty aggressive stuff with too many odd and out of place flavors, i.e. creamed corn. Acceptable, but just. –M.S.
