Bodega Norton 2004 Reserva Malbec (Luján de Cuyo)

Young, rambunctious and rather carbonic on the nose, with candied, fleshy fruit dosed with a lot of new-oak butter on the palate. Maybe this wine will knit together with a few more months in bottle, but now it's wayward, sweet and chunky and requires more effort to like than it should. Michael Schachner
