Bodega Norton 2016 Gernot Langes Red (Luján de Cuyo)

Boysenberry and blueberry aromas are pure and ripe, a positive sign given that the 2016 vintage was marred by El Niño rains. An extracted palate delivers chewy tannins but also bright acidity, meaning this blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon is in great shape. Blackberry, cassis, chocolate and baking spice flavors finish with commendable integration. Drink through 2025. Michael Schachner
