A blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre and Merlot that's young, big and burly. The sweet and gamy spice on the nose is inviting. Pure power jolts the palate, but the finish is surprisingly mild and clean. A wine for early drinking, it is what it is: a rambunctious country wine with a lot of sun-driven flavor. Michael Schachner
