Dusty white-fruit aromas make for a generic opening. This Verdejo from the warm plains of Campo de Borja is lean in body, with lemony acidity. Tart green-fruit flavors are snappy at first, then lightly oxidized. Acidity is keeping this wine afloat. The rest is fairly bland. Michael Schachner
