Nothing to swoon over but much better than the label's unpalatable 2005 and '06 wines. This has warm, earthy, mulchy aromas of baked fruit and cola, while the palate is a touch burnt to the taste, leaving caramel to mingle with raspberry. Not a bad midlevel wine if you catch it on a good day.
