Initially the nose on this blend from the Toledo area offers dark cherry and hard spice aromas, but with airing things drop off to soupy and herbal. The palate feels wiry and choppy, with hard tannins and a mix of herb, tomato, plum and vanilla flavors. On the finish, it's lactic, with a lot of vanilla and jammy weight.
