Begins with a full blast of toast and char, and then come notes of lemon, leather and rooty, sweet berry fruit. Borderline syrupy in feel, with heavy concentration and baked flavors of molasses and chocolate to go with blackberry. Seems a little over the top and stewy, but there's no doubting its ripe, round character.
