Smoky, blackened aromas take their lead from heavy oak, which makes for a resiny, foresty nose with blackberry scents. This Syrah is saturated and full-tilt in feel. Clove, toast and blackberry flavors finish oaky and spicy. This woody monster needs time to settle and absorb more oak; drink through 2023.
