Ripe berry and up-front oak aromas are typical of Ribera del Duero and should draw a smile. A big bullish palate is packed with fruit and tannins, while this tastes of blackberry, dark plum and herbs. A lumbering finish, like the rest of the package, is rough but generous. Drink through 2025. Michael Schachner
