A gold color and resiny aromas of nutty oak and oxidized white fruits capture the essence of aged white Rioja. A round, oily palate is dominated by oak, tasting of spiced apple, almond skins and woodspice. Flavors of peanut, dried apricot and stone-fruit pits provide for a good finish.
