Boekenhoutskloof 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Stellenbosch)

An aromatic complexity graces the nose of this attractive wine, with ripe aromas of blackberry, mulberry and cassis that are hit by a solid dusting of wood and cigar box spice. It's medium-plus in weight and robustly structured, with gripping, spicy tannins that form a lovely texture through the close. The finish boasts an evolution from black fruit to spice and tobacco leaf. Lauren Buzzeo
