Bogle blends grapes from 30-year-old Amador vines, 60-year-old Lodi vines, and 80-year-old Oakley vineyards to produce a truly great wine for the price. A briary, raisiny nose leads into succulent flavors of plum, allspice, cocoa and coffee. It's a brawny, rustic wine that is immensely likeable despite some rough tannins. Paul Gregutt
