The traditional Hungarian Egri Bikaver blend has made a resurgence in the last few years. This one is a blend of Kekfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt and Blauberger. It is cherry red colored with aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, plum and mocha. In the mouth there are flavors of pomegranate, cranberry and espresso. It is well balanced with slightly grippy tannins and a pleasantly soft finish. Jeff Jenssen
