Bonny Doon 2004 Dewn (Madiran)

From the Tannat grape, a dark wine that's thick in tannins but soft in acidity. It feels dense and molten in the mouth, and carries flavors of dark stone fruits and herbs. Qualitatively, its very fine, but rather a curiosity for American palates.
