Bookwalter has done an exciting turnaround as a new generation takes the reins. This is a vivid, forward, toasty and inviting Cabernet. It shows nice, round fruit and plenty of toasty oak. There are dry tannins as well, and it's all balanced out for near term enjoyment. Not a big wine, but delicious and well made.
