Boroli 2017 Villero (Barolo)

Aromas of dark spice, pressed rose and coconut form the nose along with a whiff of camphor. The tightly-knit, full-bodied palate also has elegance and tension, featuring ripe Marasca cherry, blood orange and intense licorice notes alongside firm, fine-grained tannins. After making significant changes in the vineyard and the cellars over the years, this shows the firm's a commitment to making more terroir-driven wines with respect to previous vintages. Drink 2025–2032. Kerin O’Keefe
