Borsao 2009 Berola Red (Campo de Borja)

Although this blend is perfectly good, it does have an herbal, green, minty streak that's likely due to the 30% Syrah and Cabernet bolstering 70% Garnacha. Aromas of mint, herbs, milk chocolate and plastic lead to snappy herb, spice, plum and raspberry flavors. The finish is fiery, drying and spicy. Michael Schachner
