Boschendal 2002 Shiraz (Coastal Region)

A tasty, reserved Shiraz with compact, briary dark fruit and spicy accents. Very solid and well-structured at this price, this shows much more restraint than usually seen in this price range. Not at all jammy, it's attractively understated, an elegant affordable red.
