Bott Frères 2016 Osterberg Grand Cru Riesling (Alsace)

Alluring notes of ripe citrus shine in the glass. There is mandarin, clementine as well as something fresh and green like crushed citrus foliage. The palate reprises this panoply of ripe citrus in a joyful fashion, with ease but also with concentration and verve. There is lightness in its step and vivid but ripe citrus freshness that makes the taste buds tingle. The finish is dry and lip-smacking. Anne Krebiehl MW
