This is Bouchard's hallmark Beaune, a blend from different premier cru vineyards. The wine is dense, firm and dominated by dark tannins, which offer good aging potential. The sweet tomato acidity and black berry fruits merge with a noticeable flavor of wood—the combo still needs time to fully balance out. Wait at least four years.
