89pointsBraufactum Progusta India Pale Ale

The world's first German IPA, brewed in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot (German purity law) since 2010, this was previously only available in the U.S. on draught, but it's now available in cans. Made with American Citra and German Hallertauer Mittelfrüh hops, it's an enticing and well-balanced pour, with bright aromas and flavors of grassy hops, grapefruit rind, bitter orange preserves and a strong malty backbone. The mouthfeel is medium in weight but with ample carbonation to balance and enliven, with final hints of citrus zest and pine needle on the close. Raderberger Gruppe USA. Lauren Buzzeo
