Brecon Estate 2014 Reserve Petite Sirah (Monterey)

Editors' Choice

Black plum sauce, milk chocolate, pressed blackberry, black currant, hot gingerbread and caramel combine in a very inviting nose on this bottling. It's rounded, ripe and yet racy on the palate, with loads of purple fruit and flowers, a touch of clove and some candied plum. An excellent example of what Petite Sirah can be: juicy, structured and layered. Matt Kettmann
