This is a rich and nutty brown ale that would be great paired with sharp Cheddar or nutty cheese. The hop character is subtle but present, providing lifting lemon and green apple notes, as well as soft astringency, to counter the sweet-tasting flavors of caramel, pecan and roasted malt. Hints of brown bread and sweet spice linger on the close.
