Composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, with other Bordeaux varieties in the mix, this spent 30 months in barrel and 18 months in bottle prior to release. The dense, tannic Red Mountain fruit remains firm and compact, creating a wine that needs to be decanted. The layers of berry, cassis, leaf, bark, earth and spice are balanced and tight.
