Five Bordeaux grape varieties are included in this blend; the majority (55%) is Cabernet Sauvignon. Released at five years of age, it is drinking quite well, though not yet fully mature. The bottle time has served to round off the tannins, which frame a dense, well-defined core of cassis, coffee grounds and minerals.
