Spice, licorice, coffee, herb and gunsmoke aromas are followed by tart, vibrant cranberry and cherry flavors. This wine shows a lot of delicacy, balance and restraint, with the oak occasionally getting a bit out front. The variety doesn't always show through but the wine delivers a lot of enjoyment.
