88pointsBrick Barn 2016 Grenache Blanc (Santa Ynez Valley)

Very light in the glass, this inaugural bottling from a new property shows much potential, with aromas of ripe melon, peach and a stony minerality. There is great zip and a pleasing chalky texture to the sip, which cuts through the tropical flavors of mango and ripe papaya that grow sweet. Matt Kettmann
