The winery continues to explore and improve its Gamays, this one a mix of two clones now 25 years old. It's full, fruity and rounded out with tangy raspberry fruit and highlights of orange peel. Tasty and tart, it drinks just as well on the second day as on the first, with a lightly mineral suggestion of black cherry soda as it finishes. Paul Gregutt
