Bricoleur 2021 Unoaked Chardonnay (Russian River Valley)
Very rich and ripe, this full-bodied wine, fermented and aged in stainless steel, shows that oak aging is not necessary to make a full-bore Chardonnay. The wine is loaded with golden apples, Bartlett pears, light butter and vanilla flavors on a nicely viscous texture that helps extend the finish. Pair this with something equally rich. Jim Gordon
