Bridgman 2000 Syrah (Yakima Valley)

There is some nice black fruit forward in the palate, and a bit of toasty tannin in the back, but where's the middle? There's a big hole where the heart of this wine should reside, and it makes the rest seem lean and unyielding. —P.G. Paul Gregutt
