Bridlewood 1999 Winners Circle Selection Syrah (San Luis Obispo County)

Plum, black-cherry, cured-meat and "smoke-machine smoke" aromas comprise the subtle yet complex nose; raspberry, red-apple, toasted-nuts and cola flavors dominate on the palate. Mouthfeel is smooth and full; long finish shows "soft but plentiful" tannins and mineral flavors.
