A dark wine, this shows tightly wound blackberry and boysenberry fruit on the nose as well as a touch of tar, concentrated violets, smoked pork and beef char. The mouthfeel is full and rich, with deeply fruity flavors of blackberry paste spiced up by peppercorn and strong acidity. It's a very solid, down-the-middle Syrah.
