Brittan Vineyards 2017 Basalt Block Pinot Noir (McMinnville)

Lovely scents of violets and strawberries introduce this new release. Strawberry and cherry-fruit flavors are balanced against a range of baking spices, notably cumin and saffron. The balance and persistence are exceptional. The wine was aged a year in 15% new barrels. Paul Gregutt
