Broadley 2018 Jessica Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

Editors' Choice

This is smooth and rich, already drinking well and likely to hold well for up to a decade. The flavors coat the palate with lush cherry fruit and accents of cherry cola and sassafras. All Wadenswil clone, half whole cluster fermented, and aged over a year in 30% new French oak, this doesn't have the smoky darkness of the companion release (Claudia's Choice); instead showing the barrel influence with coconut flakes and light baking spices. Paul Gregutt
