Brook & Bull 2016 Come Hell or High Water Red (Columbia Valley (WA))

This wine is half Grenache, with the rest equal parts Mourvèdre and Cabernet Sauvignon, all aged in neutral oak. The aromas are generous, with notes of plum, freshly peeled orange, tar, black pepper and spice. Juicy, ripe, fresh fruit flavors follow, tapering ever so slightly toward the finish. There's a lot to like. Sean P. Sullivan
